Terms of Sale (Purchases via the Website)
1. Scope and provider
1.1 These Terms apply to contracts for the "Starter", "Plus" and "Premium" packages of the "Unser Dubai" app that you conclude through our website. Your contracting party and the seller is NEXTLEVEL CORPORATE SERVICE PROVIDER - FZCO, Building A1 / IFZA Business Park, Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, DIEZ License No. 67837, represented by Tassilo Peter Seitz, email: [email protected], phone: +971 58 302 5922 ("we", "us").
1.2 Purchases in the Apple App Store or on Google Play are not covered by these Terms. There you take out an automatically renewing subscription with Apple or Google; Apple or Google is your seller and their terms apply. Only Apple or Google can end such a subscription, not us (section 11.6). Our Terms of Use apply to any use of the app. The packages are not available identically in every sales channel: Premium is currently not offered on Google Play. Prices and terms in the stores may differ from the prices on the website. The offer shown to you at purchase applies.
1.3 Our offer is directed at consumers. A consumer is a person who buys a package for purposes that are mainly outside their trade, business or profession. Companies can also conclude contracts through the website (section 1.4). Companies that want to give their staff or customers access can also obtain unlock codes under a separate agreement (section 6.3).
1.4 Business customers: At checkout you can enter a company name, billing address and VAT ID. We send the invoice by email (for subscriptions, for every charge); it can also be retrieved in the customer portal (in the app under "Profile → My package", link "Payment method and invoices"). The right of withdrawal (section 8) does not apply to businesses, and consumer protection rules apply to them only where mandatory. Cancelling with the "Cancel contracts here" button (section 11.1) is open to businesses too. The tax treatment follows the statutory provisions and the information given at checkout.
2. What we provide
2.1 "Unser Dubai" is a digital do-it-yourself guide and planner for moving to Dubai. Depending on the package, you get access for the term to guides, checklists, timelines, calculators, directories, a planner (roadmap), deadline reminders, a document vault, a self-check, an AI assistant and country notes on leaving your home country. The exact scope per package is shown in the package overview at the time of order. A free account ("Free") only allows reading introductions and tables of contents.
2.2 The service is purely digital and automated. We owe no personal advice, no phone, video or chat sessions and no group offerings. We provide no legal, tax, insurance or immigration advice. The content is general information and a planning aid (see the Disclaimer).
2.3 Features with local storage: deadline reminders (local notifications on your device), the document vault (files) and the self-check use data that is stored only on your device. We do not receive this data and cannot restore it. You are responsible for keeping backup copies of your documents. Reminders are an aid, not a promise: they depend on your device settings and availability and do not replace checking deadlines with the competent authority.
2.4 We may update, change or replace content and features where needed for accuracy, security or further development, provided the agreed scope is not affected beyond a minor degree for you. Where it is affected more than that, the statutory rules on changes to digital products apply (in particular information and your right to end the contract).
3. Packages, prices, term, renewal
3.1 Standard (first term paid in advance): The prices shown at the time of order apply. You pay the first term in advance; after that the contract renews automatically month by month (section 3.4):
| Package | Price for the first term (in advance) | First term | then per renewal month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | EUR 79 | 3 months | EUR 25 |
| Plus ("trial living") | EUR 249 | 6 months | EUR 40 |
| Premium | EUR 999 | 12 months | EUR 80 |
3.2 Alternative: monthly payment with a minimum term (Plus and Premium only, where this option is shown to you at purchase):
| Package | Price per month | Minimum term |
|---|---|---|
| Plus ("trial living") | EUR 49 | 6 months |
| Premium | EUR 99 | 12 months |
The monthly price is due in advance each month. After the minimum term the contract renews monthly at the same monthly price (section 3.5). This alternative is not available for Starter.
3.3 The prices shown are final prices. They include value added tax or comparable taxes where these apply under the law applicable to your purchase; any tax amount included is shown where required by law. We charge no further costs. Your payment provider or bank may charge fees, for example for foreign currency.
3.4 Term and renewal with payment in advance: The first term starts when the package is activated for your account (normally right after successful payment). After the first term the contract renews automatically for one month at a time at the renewal price in section 3.1 unless it has been cancelled. After the first term the contract can be cancelled at any time with effect from the end of the current renewal month (section 11).
3.5 Term and renewal with monthly payment: The minimum term starts with activation. During the minimum term the contract can only be cancelled with effect from its end; the monthly prices up to then remain due. After that the contract renews automatically for one month at a time and can be cancelled at any time with effect from the end of the current month (section 11).
3.6 Reminder: We remind you once by email, before the first term (section 3.4) or the minimum term (section 3.5) ends – about 14 days before for a term of 3 or 6 months, about 30 days before for 12 months – of the subsequent monthly renewal and the price then due and point to the option to cancel. We do not send further reminders for the following monthly renewals. The reminder is an additional service; your right to cancel exists independently of it.
3.7 Price changes: The price of a running contract changes only if you agree to the change. We tell you about an intended price change in advance in text form and ask for your express consent. If you do not agree, the contract continues at the previous price; we may then terminate it by ordinary notice to the end of the current month and make you a new offer. Price changes for new contracts remain reserved.
3.8 After the contract ends, your account returns to the free "Free" account. Your planning data stored on our servers is kept as long as the account exists; what you can use then follows the Free account. Data that is only on your device (e.g. vault, reminders) stays there until you delete it. You can take out a new package at any time. If you buy the same package while it is already running, there is no need for that; we refund duplicate purchases on request (see Refund Policy). For the deletion of inactive accounts see section 3.9.
3.9 Deletion of inactive accounts: If there has been no active access for 12 months (no running package and no running subscription) and you have not signed in during that time, we delete your account and the associated data. For free accounts ("Free"): 12 months without signing in. About 30 days beforehand we remind you by email, stating the deletion date; signing in or buying a new package prevents the deletion. Excepted are invoice and purchase data that we must keep under statutory, in particular tax, retention duties; they are kept in blocked form until the period ends and deleted afterwards. Data that is only on your device (e.g. vault, reminders) is not affected; it stays there until you delete it. On the website you can have the period extended for a fee (section 12).
4. Conclusion of contract
4.1 Presenting the packages on the website is not a binding offer, but an invitation to order.
4.2 Process: you choose a package, sign in or create an account, review package, price, first term or minimum term, the renewal price, the notice about automatic renewal and the option to cancel, and your details on the order summary, tick the required confirmations (see Withdrawal Notice; they include the confirmation that you have noted the automatic monthly renewal) and click the button "Buy now (payment required)". This is your binding offer. You can correct input errors until you click that button by using your browser's back function or the editing options on the order summary.
4.3 We accept your offer by sending an order confirmation email or by activating the package, whichever comes first. Payment is processed via Stripe (see section 5). If the first payment fails, no access is granted.
4.4 Contract languages are German and English. The order confirmation email contains the key contract data and refers to these Terms and the Withdrawal Notice, which you can access, save and print on our website at any time. We store your order data; on request we will send you the version of these Terms that applied when you concluded the contract.
5. Payment
5.1 Payment is processed by our payment provider Stripe (payment methods as shown at checkout, e.g. credit card). With payment in advance, the price for the first term is due on ordering; with monthly payment, the first monthly price.
5.2 By ordering you authorise us and Stripe to collect the amounts that fall due afterwards (renewal months or monthly prices) on the respective due date from the payment method you stored, for as long as the contract exists. You can update the payment method at any time (in the app under "Profile → My package", link "Payment method and invoices").
5.3 Failed payment, grace period: If a follow-up payment fails, we notify you and try the payment again. You keep your access for 7 days from the due date so that you can check or update your payment method. If payment does not succeed in that time, we suspend access; we may then terminate the contract for good cause. Amounts already due remain owed.
5.4 For unjustified chargebacks we may suspend access and claim the chargeback amount plus the fees incurred by us.
6. Account and access
6.1 You need an account. One account works across all sales channels: if you buy on the web, you sign in to the app with the same account and get access. The package with the highest level and the latest end date linked to your account applies.
6.2 You must keep your login details secret. Access is personal; sharing is not permitted. To prevent misuse, simultaneous use may be limited to a reasonable number of devices.
6.3 Unlock codes (B2B): we issue unlock codes to companies and partners who give their staff or customers access. A code is redeemed on the website after sign-in, can be redeemed only once and only until the date set for the code. Redeeming a code activates the package and term that belong to the code for your account. If a package is already running, the code is credited according to the rules shown when you redeem it. Redeeming is not a purchase from us: no payment is made to us, so there is no withdrawal or refund from us. Whether and what you pay to the company or partner is governed by your relationship with them. Codes must not be resold; in case of misuse we may block a code or the access linked to it. Codes are not redeemed in the app stores; your account applies there as on the web.
7. Upgrade and change
7.1 Upgrade with credit: If you buy a higher package on the website while a lower package is running, the lower package ends on purchase; further charges for it stop. We credit the remaining value of the lower package as an amount against the first payment for the new package; you pay correspondingly less for the first term (or the first month if you pay monthly). The term of the new package is the normal first or minimum term. The remaining value is the list price of your previous package (EUR 79, 249 or 999) in proportion of the remaining full days to the total length of the previous period (rounded down to full cents); for a running web subscription, the basis is the invoice amount of the current period before any upgrade discount. If the remaining value exceeds the first payment, we credit the excess to your customer account as a balance and set it off against the next payments. The order summary shows the remaining value, the amount of the first payment and any balance before you buy. The remaining value or balance is not paid out. Buying the higher package is a separate contract with its own right of withdrawal. If it is withdrawn or refunded, your previous package runs again until its original end.
7.2 Downgrading to a lower package during the term is not possible on the website. You can cancel the contract (section 11) and take out a different package after it ends.
7.3 Higher package on the website while a store subscription is running: If a subscription in the App Store or on Google Play is running and you buy a higher package on the website, we credit the remaining value of the running, paid store period under section 7.1 as an amount against the first payment of the web subscription (list price of the store package, EUR 79, 249 or 999, in proportion of the remaining full days to the length of the period; any excess is set off as a balance against the next payments). The term of the web subscription is the normal first or minimum term; the order summary shows you the remaining value and the amount of the first payment before you buy. The store subscription keeps running and renews until you cancel it in the respective store; we cannot cancel it. If you do not cancel it, you pay twice. Important: cancel your store subscription yourself in the store, otherwise you are billed twice. We show you this notice on the order summary, on the thank-you page and in the confirmation email. Refunds of store purchases follow the rules of the respective store.
7.4 Additional store subscription while a web subscription is running: If a web subscription is running and you also take out a subscription in the App Store or on Google Play, the web subscription keeps running until you cancel it (section 11.1). There is no credit in this case because the stores settle accounts themselves. We point this out to you by email. Access is always determined by the highest running package (section 6.1).
7.5 Changing in the store; unlock codes: If you subscribed to a package in the App Store or on Google Play, you change or end it in that store; up- and downgrades within the subscription group are settled by the store. The credit under section 7.1 also applies if your previous package was acquired with an unlock code.
8. Right of withdrawal
8.1 The contract is for the supply of digital content not on a tangible medium (access to the app for the booked term, section 2).
8.2 Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. It expires when provision begins, if during the order process you expressly agreed that we begin providing the content before the withdrawal period ends, you acknowledged that, by giving this consent, you lose your right of withdrawal once provision begins, and we have given you the contract confirmation by email. Without this consent, and until provision begins, you can still withdraw.
8.3 Details and the model withdrawal form are in our Withdrawal Notice. You can also declare your withdrawal online using the "Withdraw from contract" button on our website and in the app.
8.4 The right of withdrawal applies per contract. Automatic renewal is not a new contract and does not create a new right of withdrawal. Your right to cancel for the future (section 11) remains unaffected; cancelling is not withdrawing and vice versa.
9. Availability and defects
9.1 We aim for availability that is as uninterrupted as possible. Maintenance, security updates and outages at third parties (e.g. hosting, payment, map or AI services) can cause temporary limits. We do not promise any specific availability.
9.2 If there are defects, your statutory rights apply; for consumers in the EU in particular the rules on contracts for digital products. Please report defects to [email protected].
10. Liability
10.1 We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under mandatory product liability law, and where we have given a guarantee or fraudulently concealed a defect.
10.2 For slightly negligent breach of essential contractual duties (duties whose fulfilment makes proper performance possible in the first place and on which you can regularly rely), liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Otherwise liability for slight negligence is excluded, as far as permitted by law.
10.3 No advice: The content and the AI assistant's answers are general information and a planning aid, not legal, tax, insurance or immigration advice, and may be incomplete, outdated or wrong. You take decisions based on them (e.g. deregistration, termination, sale, visa applications) at your own responsibility. Please verify important points with the competent authority or a licensed professional. See also the Disclaimer. Liability under 10.1 remains unaffected.
10.4 Mandatory statutory rights, in particular mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence, are not affected by this section.
11. Cancellation, suspension and termination
11.1 Ordinary cancellation by you: You can cancel a contract concluded on the website at any time without giving reasons, online without logging in using the "Cancel contracts here" button (https://www.unser-dubai.com/en/cancel.html), in the app under "Profile → My package → Cancel contract", or in text form (e.g. email to [email protected]). With payment in advance the cancellation takes effect at the end of the first term or of the current renewal month; with monthly payment at the end of the minimum term or of the current month. It must reach us before the start of the next period; what counts is the receipt that we confirm to you with date and time. Until it takes effect you keep your access. A partial refund for the rest of a period already paid is not made on ordinary cancellation.
11.2 How the cancellation button works: (1) You open "Cancel contracts here" and enter: the type of cancellation (ordinary or extraordinary, with a reason for extraordinary), your name, your email address, optionally your invoice or customer number, and the date you want (earliest possible or a date of your choice). (2) You confirm with the "Cancel now" button. (3) You see a confirmation page with all details and the date and time of receipt, which you can save or print. (4) We promptly send you a confirmation of receipt by email with the content of your declaration, the date and time of receipt and the date on which the contract ends. So that we can match the cancellation to your contract, your details (in particular the email address of the account) must be correct. Matching can take some time; effectiveness depends on receipt of the declaration.
11.3 Extraordinary cancellation: Each party's right to terminate for good cause remains unaffected. Good cause for us exists in particular if you share your login details, systematically copy or redistribute content, use the app abusively or unlawfully, charge back payments without being entitled to do so, or do not pay an amount that is due after the grace period (section 5.3) has ended. As a rule, we suspend access only after a prior warning unless a warning is unreasonable. If we terminate the contract without you having given cause, we refund the part of the price that relates to the remaining paid term.
11.4 Offer after your cancellation: After you have cancelled, we may email you a voluntary offer to stay (currently: 30% off for 3 months). You receive the offer only after your cancellation and never during the cancellation process itself. If you accept it using the link in the email, your cancellation is withdrawn, and after the discount period the regular price applies again; the contract remains cancellable as before. If you do not respond, your cancellation stays in effect.
11.5 Deleting your account: You can delete your account in the app at any time ("Profile → Delete account") or request it by email to [email protected]. If you delete your account without cancelling first, we treat this as a cancellation with effect from the earliest possible date so that no further charges are made. A paid period is not refunded pro rata because of account deletion; your statutory rights, in particular the right of withdrawal, remain unaffected. Data that is only stored on a device (e.g. vault files) you delete there; details are in the Privacy Policy. For the automatic deletion of inactive accounts see section 3.9.
11.6 Store subscriptions: You cancel a subscription taken out in the App Store or on Google Play only there (Apple: your Apple ID settings → Subscriptions, https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions; Google Play: Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). We cannot cancel it. If you delete your account or uninstall the app, the store subscription continues until you cancel it in the store.
12. Data retention on request (data parking)
12.1 Service: If you do not want a subscription, you can book, on the website, retention of your account and planning data beyond the period in section 3.9. This only extends the deletion period; your data stays stored. The booking gives no access to the content and features of a package; for that you need a package.
12.2 Prices and term (one-off payment, no subscription):
| Retention | Price (one-off) |
|---|---|
| 12 months | EUR 12 |
| 24 months | EUR 24 |
| 36 months | EUR 36 |
Payment is made once via Stripe. There is no automatic renewal; the retention ends after the booked time without any cancellation. Section 3.3 (final prices) applies accordingly.
12.3 Start and end: The booked time runs from the purchase or from the deletion date that would otherwise apply, whichever is later. About 30 days before it ends we remind you again by email. After that we delete the account and data under section 3.9 unless you sign in, take out a package or book retention again. Section 3.9 applies unchanged to invoice and purchase data.
12.4 Where offered: You receive the offer by link in the reminder email before deletion or on the website, not in the app.
12.5 Withdrawal: Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for this contract for a digital service (see the Withdrawal Notice). If you expressly ask us to start the retention immediately, you must pay a proportionate amount for the service provided until then if you withdraw; once the service has been fully provided, the right of withdrawal expires under the statutory conditions.
13. Data protection
Information on how we process personal data is in the Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
14.1 The laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applicable in the Emirate of Dubai, apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country where you habitually reside remain unaffected (for EU consumers in particular under Art. 6(2) Rome I Regulation). These include, for example, the rules on withdrawal and digital products.
14.2 Consumers may also bring claims arising from this contract before the courts of their country of residence where the applicable law provides for this (for the EU: Arts. 17 to 19 Brussels I Recast Regulation). Otherwise, as far as permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction is Dubai.
14.3 Consumer dispute resolution: see the Legal Notice.
15. Final provisions
15.1 If any provision is invalid, the rest of the contract remains valid; the statutory rule replaces the invalid one.
15.2 We may change these Terms for future contracts. Existing contracts remain subject to the version in force when they were concluded; prices change only under section 3.7.
15.3 If the German and English versions differ, the version in the language of your order process prevails.
As of October 2026 (17 Oct 2026), version 1.2
