Unser Dubai is a guide, not advice. We provide orientation, sources and checklists so you can do it yourself. We do not provide legal, tax, insurance or immigration advice. Laws and official practice change; check important steps with the competent office or a licensed professional. Answers from the AI assistant are automated and can be wrong.

1. No advice

All content in the app (guides, checklists, calculators, timelines, country notes, answers from the AI assistant) is for general information and planning. It does not replace legal, tax, insurance, investment, visa or immigration advice, nor advice from authorities, lawyers, tax advisers, insurance brokers or other licensed professionals. We provide no personal services for individual cases.

2. Country information

The notes on Dubai/UAE and on leaving your home country (deregistration, tax, health insurance, return) are based on publicly available, where possible official, sources. Each piece of country information states its source and date where possible. Laws, fees, deadlines, forms and practice may have changed since then. The presentation is simplified and does not cover every individual case. What is described applies in principle; deviations and individual cases are possible. The current information from the competent authority always prevails. Tax consequences in particular (leaving, residence, double taxation, exit taxation), social security and health insurance depend heavily on your personal situation.

The country sections are expanded step by step. We compile them before publication and check them against the sources stated; they are not reviewed by authorities or advisers.

3. AI assistant

The assistant works automatically with an AI language model. Answers may be incomplete, outdated, misleading or wrong and may contain invented details. The assistant knows your personal situation only from what you enter. It gives no binding information and does not replace a professional. Please check important details (laws, deadlines, costs, requirements) against the sources stated.

4. Reminders, document vault, self-check

Deadline reminders are based on your own entries and local notifications on your device; they may not appear or may be delayed and do not replace checking deadlines with the competent authority. The document vault stores files only on your device, without backup; you are responsible for backups. The self-check shows orientation based on your answers, not a verdict. Our liability is governed by section 7; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

5. Prices, costs, third-party offers

Costs, fees, rents, school fees, prices and opening hours in the app are guide values as of the date stated. Only the provider's information is binding. We are not party to third-party offers and contracts. Recommendations and directory entries (districts, schools, service providers) are not a guarantee. For some recommendations or links we may receive a payment (e.g. a referral commission); we mark such links as advertising or partner links. This costs you nothing extra.

6. Health insurance and external link (advertisement)

The knowledge card on health insurance is general information, not advice and not a recommendation of any tariff. The link marked as an advertisement leads to insurance4expats.com, not to an offer of ours. insurance4expats is offered by Verus Vorsorge GmbH, in which a founder of Unser Dubai holds an interest. Verus Vorsorge GmbH alone is responsible for the content and services of that website. The app contains no enquiry form and passes on no data. We are neither an insurer nor an insurance broker or adviser.

7. Liability

Our liability is governed by the Terms of Sale or the Terms of Use. As far as permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you take solely on the basis of the app content (e.g. deregistration, termination, sale, moving, concluding contracts, visa applications). Liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body and health and under mandatory law remains unaffected.
