What is different in Abu Dhabi compared with Dubai
Tenancy contract
In Abu Dhabi the tenancy contract is registered with Tawtheeq, in Dubai with Ejari.
Electricity and water
The provider is TAQA, in Dubai DEWA.
Schools
The responsible authority is ADEK, in Dubai the KHDA.
Road toll
Roads use Darb, in Dubai Salik.
Government app
Many official steps run through TAMM.
Health
The medical check and insurance follow Abu Dhabi rules, with clinics such as SEHA.

Frequently asked questions
Is Unser Dubai also available for Abu Dhabi?
Yes. Abu Dhabi is now fully in the app: from districts and schools to costs, housing and the trial stay. In the app you simply choose Dubai or Abu Dhabi under “Where are you moving?”.
Does Abu Dhabi cost extra?
No. The same plans apply as for Dubai. Every feature is available for both emirates in the same plan.
Which schools are there in Abu Dhabi?
In the app you find over 200 schools supervised by ADEK, plus around 240 nurseries – from the Starter plan.
What is different in Abu Dhabi compared with Dubai?
Mainly the offices: the tenancy contract is registered with Tawtheeq (Dubai: Ejari), electricity and water come from TAQA (Dubai: DEWA), schools are supervised by ADEK (Dubai: KHDA), the road toll is Darb (Dubai: Salik), and many official steps run through the TAMM app.
Can I do a trial stay in Abu Dhabi?
Yes. With the Plus plan the app also plans your trial stay for Abu Dhabi, with its own daily plans, district shortlist and cost check.
